“What is a Sherpa?”

When we came up with the word Sherpa to describe our paid assistants, we thought it was cute.  We liked it so much we trademarked it, printed it on shirts, and tried selling them at a booth in Gerlach.  But then Sherpa became a derogatory term used by jealous tent campers to describe the people fortunate enough to be part of our camp experience.  We do not use that word anymore, because they spoiled it for us.

Spirit Guides provide most of our Member Services.  Whether a Spirit Guide is peeling fresh Oregon grown organic potatoes for our truffle oil hash browns, or diligently picking up MOOP that has been lost by our Members, we value them one and all.
